Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Addressing a gathering of Indian community in Riyadh during first day of his Saudi Arabia visit, Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said the way India is achieving economic progress, entire world’s focus is on India. The world is realising that 125 crore strong nation can give so much to the world and do so much for the world. India has brought new trust and hope across the world with its democratic values andspirit of Sabka sath, sabka vikas while marching ahead in direction of economic progress.
He said in very few time, India has again given a new hope. The world is acccepting India as an important country instead of one of many countries. The reason is, there’s political stbility. There’s a government with clear majority after a gap of 30 years. While entire world is facing economic problems, the World Bank, IMF, Credit rating agencies – everyone is saying that India is ray of hope, a shining star, and that too amid adverse economic situation worldwide.
Modi said the third biggest strength of India is its big chunk of youths below 35 age. The entire world needs talented, technology equipped work force. Either it is agriculture sector or industrial sector or service sector, in all three, India is strongly moving forward.
After his speech, Modi had photo session with Indian community members.
