Ahmedabad: Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki has today allocated area wise responsibilities to leaders.

26 assembly seats of central zone will be looked after state party president Bharatsinh Solanki in Ahmedabad district, Anand, Kheda, Mahisagar and Panchmahal districts.

25 seats of north Gujarat will be under leadr of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela that include the districts of Banasktnaha, Sabarkantha, Arvalli, Patan and Gandhinagar.

Former state party president Arjun Modhwadia has been given responsibility of 27 seats falling in Devbhumi Dwarka, Porbadnar, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Botad districts.

Another former state party president Siddharth Patel has been assigned 28 seats of Vadodara, Vadodara city, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Bharuch and part of Surat city.

Former leader of opposition, national spokesperson of Congress party and Abdasa MLA Shaktisinh Gohil has been given responsibility of 27 seats in Kutch, Surendranagar, Morbi, Jamnagar and Rajkot districts.

26 seats of South Gujarat in Narmada, Surat district, part of Surat city, Valsad, Dang, Tapi and Navsari districts are assigned to former MoS in centre Dr Tushar Chaudhary.

Amreli MLA Paresh Dhanani has been given responsibility of Mahesana district and Ahmedabad city.
