Shaktisinh Gohil refuses to take 27-seat responsibility given by state party chief
September 08, 2016
Gandhinagar: President of Gujarat Congress Bharatsinh Solanki had announced zone wise responsibilities for top party leaders. Jagdish Thakor and Kunvarjibhai Bavalia both are sulking after Solanki’s this announcement as they have found no representation of their Thakor and Koli community in this list. Now in a fresh development, former leader of opposition, Abdasa MLA and party’s national spokesperson Shaktisinh Gohil has refused to accept the responsibilities given to him by Solanki. Gohil has sent a letter in this regard to Solanki and submitted resignation from the responsibility. Shaktisinh was handed over the new responsibility of 27 assembly seats in Kutch, Surendranagar, Morbi, Jamnagar and Rajkot districts by state party president. Gujarat is going to witness general elections of assembly next year, most probably in the month of December.
