Parul University clash: Four foreign and two local students dismissed

Vadodara: Vadodara based Parul University has dismissed four foreigner and two local students for their involvement in clash between local and foreign students on February 5 evening.
The university has also suspended two local students(Parth Patel and Dhruvkumar Patel) for 15 days and other two students(Minil Desai and Yash Vaghasia) for one semester.
The students who are dismissed are Muhammad Omid, Muhammad Abdalilah, Muhammad Alhasan, Muhammad Niyaz, Nakibullah, Utkarsh Rajpurohit and Santosh Chauhan.
The decision was taken after University director Dr BJ Rathod led five member committee handed over its report to management.
It should be mentioned here that police had taken 8 foreign students on remand after they were booked for rioting and attempt to murder. They were from Afghanistan, Congo, Zambia and Cameroon. Police had detained three Indian students also.
