Gandhinagar: A meeting of the Congress MLA’s was held in Capital Gandhinagar in which Leader of Opposition Shankersinh Vaghela and state president Bharatsinh Solanki both remained present.

Later talking to newsmen after the meeting of the MLA’s at circuit house here, Solanki said that the meeting was held in connection with the upcoming nomination of the presidential candidate of Congress Ms Meira Kumar.

‘Me, Shankersinh bhai and other leaders and MLA’s would go to Delhi as instructed by party high command on June 28,’ he said.

Vaghela on the other hand said that the MLA’s and leaders would go to Delhi as per the need.

Notably, both the leaders looked together amid speculations of postponement of the Mahasammelan of the party’s elected representatives of June 28 owing to the alleged ‘rift’ between the two senior most leaders.
