GCCI delegation to go on 8 days Japan trip to promote bi-lateral trade

A 17 member business delegation of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) led by Senior Vice President Dr Jaimin Vasa will be on an eight days trip to Japan from April 8 to 15 to promote the two way trade between Gujarat/India and Japan.
Secretary General of GCCI Jagdish Shah today said that the delegation would leave for Japan from Ahmedabad in the evening of April 7 and reach there the next day ie April 8. It would return on April 15. In capital Tokyo, after meeting with the Ambassador of India in Japan, the delegation will have meetings with Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JETRO, METI, Japan Institute for Overseas Investment, Semiconductor Association of Japan, Organization of Small & Medium Enterprises & Regional Innovation, Tokyo Metropolitan SME Support Center as well as visit leading companies such as Watahan Trading Co. Ltd., Mitsui and Co. Ltd.
In addition to this the delegation with representation from Electronics, Automobiles, Engineering, IT, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Textile and Iron & Steel sectors will also have B2B meetings with local companies.
The delegation during its visit to Osaka-Kobe, will have meetings with Consul General of India, the mayor, Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JETRO-Osaka, Governor of Hyogo Prefecture Government and visit to leading companies such as Sakata corporation and Hitachi Zosen. It will also have networking meetings with local Industries in Osaka.
