Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani likely to visit Israel next week

Gandhinagar: Though there’s no official confirmation about it yet, it is learnt that Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is likely to fly to Israel on his first foreign visit as Chief Minister.Rupani is likely to leave for Israel on June 26. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had visited Gujarat earlier this year in January with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. Significantly on June 26 Rupani is going to complete six months of his fresh term. Chief Minister’s Israel visit is likely to be 6-day long. Several MoUs are likely to be signed during this visit. The visit is related to upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit, scheduled to take place in January next year. Water management and agricultural technology will also be focus areas during this visit.
