Another spell of non-seasonal rain likely in Gujarat, the Western state records first sub 10°C temperature of the season

Gandhinagar: Even as pinkish cold has gripped almost whole of Gujarat, the western state today recorded its first single digit or sub 10 temperature with Nailya in Kutch district seeing a minimum of 9.9 °C .

According to the met bulletin this evening there won’t be much changes in the minimum temperatures in the next two days.

A spell of non-seasonal light to moderate rain has also been predicted from December 4 under the influence of a low pressure area in the Arabian sea.

Today the Weather was dry over Gujarat region, Saurashtra- Kutch with mostly north easterly winds prevailing at the lower levels.

In Ahmedabad the the maximum temperature at 30.1°C was one notch below normal while the minimum at 19.0°C was 4.5 °C above normal.

The weather across the state is likely to remain dry in the next three days however on day 4 ie December 4, according to met forecast, light to moderate rain/ thundershower were very likely at isolated places in the districts of Anand, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara,Narmada, Valsad, Navsari, Bhavnagar, Amreli and Gir Somnath.
