Ahmedabad: City based Thakkar family today organized a drive-through besnu of family member late Pannaben Thakkar, in which relatives and friends participated just by sitting in their own car for a brief time and then drive ahead making a way for another car to enter the besnu venue. A drive-through besnu was organized at family’s bungalow in Satellite area. Arrangement was made in a way that one sitting in car would have face to face sight of hosts of besnu and can do namaste to them in order to convey condolence. Only limited number of seats were arranged for close family members of host family. A drive-through besnu was organized looking at the Covid-19 pandemic situation during which gathering is not advisable and also not allowed. A drive through besnu also solved the issue of large parking space required for vehicles of those who would pay visit to condole the family.
