Religious ceremonies at Bhavnath, Dakor to be held in absence of public

Junagadh: Annual Mahashivratri fair of Bhavnath on the foothills of Girnar in Junagadh will start on March 7 but due to Covid19 pandemic situation, it will be limited to saints, local administration and supplies. The public will not be allowed to participate in the fair. Even Girnar ropeway service has been suspended for the period of fair. All religious customs and ceremonies including religious flag installation, foot march of sadhus, midnight bath in Mrugi kund etc. will be marked like every year, but in absence of general public. Meanwhile, Dakor temple management has declared that annual Fagani punam fair will not be celebrated in public presence this year and the temple will remain closed during 27-29 March for visitors.
