Ahmedabad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has nabbed a Police constable and a Home-guard jawan working with Manek Chawk police chowki in Khadia police station area of city in bribe case. Accused Jayendrasinh Mohansinh Chauhan is Police Constable while Sahil Salim Mirza is Home Guard jawan.

According to ACB, a complainant had submitted an application in Khadia Police Station, probe of which was handed over to Manek Chawk police chowki. Writer Police Constable Jayendrasinh Chauhan had taken a statement of applicant and asked him to pay Rs. 5100. A complainant didn’t want to pay bribe and therefore contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged in whcih accused constable and his aide homeguard jawan Sahil Mirza were nabbed by ACB team.
