62 talukas receive rains across Gujarat on Wednesday morning; Forecast for more rains

Gandhinagar: Total 62 talukas across the state witnessed unseasonal rainfall between 6 am to 10 am today, as per a report of State Emergency Operation Centre, Gandhinagar. A total 5 talukas namely Umerpada and Kamrej in Surat, Khambha in Amreli, Una in Gir Somnath, and Quant in Chhota Udepur witnessed over 10 mm rainfall between 6 am to 10 am today.
Total 22 talukas across the state witnessed unseasonal rainfall in the last 24 hours ending at 6 am today, as per a report of State Emergency Operation Centre in Gandhinagar. Una taluka in Gir Somnath witnessed highest rainfall out of the 22 talukas which is 29 mm followed by 12 mm in Savarkundla in Amreli and 8 mm in Khambha, Amreli.
As per India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, districts of South Gujarat region namely Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang, and Valsad are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places today. The districts namely Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath are likely to witness heavy rains at isolated places today.
The four districts namely Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhota Udaipur and Narmada are likely to witness heavy rains at isolated places tomorrow on 2nd December, as per IMD forecast. DeshGujarat
