Junagarh: The standing committee of the Junagarh Municipal Corporation has completed the bidding process to hire an agency to provide a 10-year road map. The Rs 3.97 crore bid of Ahmedabad-based KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd has been approved.

Apart from this, the standing committee has also approved development projects worth Rs 19.17 crore, among which the most prominent one is the plan to secure all employees of the civic body under the Pradhan Mantri Vima Suraksha Kavach.

The standing committee has also extended the scheme of offering interest waiver on house-tax by one month more. Citizens can now avail benefits under the interest-waiver scheme till June 30, 2022. DeshGujarat.
