Festival season approaching in Gujarat: 29 Festivals within 118 days

Ahmedabad: There will be 29 Hindu festivals within 118 days from Ashadhi Bij on 1st July 2022 till the end of Diwali on 26th October 2022 this year.
The month of July will have 9 Hindu festivals, which is the highest number of Hindu festivals among the four months from July to October. July has the following Hindu festivals: Ashadhi Bij Rath Yatra (1st July), Mola Vrat beginning (9th July), Devpodhi Ekadashi (10th July), Jaya Parvati Vrat beginning (11th July), Guru Purnima (13th July), Jaya Parvati Vrat Jagran (15th July), Divaso Jagran (28th July), Shivpuja beginning (29th July), Fulda trij (31st July).
The festivals in August, September and October will be also the following:
August: Raksha Bandhan (11th August), Sankashta Chaturthi (15th August), Shitla Satam (18th August), Janmashtami (19th August), Kevda Trij (30th August), Ganesh Chaturthi (31st August)
September: Rushi Pancham (1st September), Anand Chaturdashi (9th September), Shraddh Paksha beginning (10th September), Sarva Pitru Amaas (25th September), Shardiya Navratri beginning (26th September)
October: Vijya Dashmi (5th October), Sharad Purnima (9th October), Dhanteras (22nd October), Kali Chaudash (23rd October), Diwali (24th October), Darsh Amas (25th October), Nutan Varsh (25th October), Bhai Bij (26th October).
This year, the Hindu festivals will arrive 10 days earlier compared to last year, due to Adhik Maas in 2023. DeshGujarat
