Gandhinagar: A total of 8.65 lakh candidates have submitted their consent letters to appear for the Talati recruitment exam scheduled on May 7th in the state. Around 17 lakh candidates had initially registered for the exam when its announcement was made. Roughly 40 to 50 percent of total registered candidates usually appear in such recruitment exams.

To give the exam, candidates must submit a consent letter, so that the administration can scale the arrangements accordingly. The last date for submission was April 20th. The final figure of 8.65 lakh was declared today. The Panchayat Services Selection Board’s Chairman in charge, Hasmukh Patel, has stated that seating arrangements will be made based on the submitted consent letters. Candidates who fail to submit a consent form will be disqualified for the current exam and will not get the exam fees back. However, the candidate who remains absent after submitting the consent forms shall not attract any penalty.

The exam will begin at 12:30 PM on May 7th, and only those who have filled out the consent form will receive call letters. There is no need to carry the receipt of the consent form to the examination center. The number on the consent letter will be required to download the call letter. DeshGujarat
