Over 23,000 projects completed in 6th phase of Sujalam Sufalam Yojna: Govt

Gandhinagar: The sixth phase of the Sujalam Sufalam scheme has concluded in 104 days, with more than 23,000 projects completed said the government spokesperson Rushikesh Patel.
Patel stated, “Out of the planned 24,153 projects for the 104-day program, 23,860 have been successfully finished, resulting in the creation of 1.27 million man-days of employment.”
Patel further mentioned that, among the total water stored in the state’s 206 reservoirs, 10,500 million cubic feet will be allocated for drinking purposes, while the remaining water will be utilized for irrigation. Additionally, a partnership with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is currently underway to repair 161 check dams.
