Gujarat Literature Festival kicks off; Here is the full schedule of programs on Dec 25,26

Ahmedabad: The 10th edition of the Gujarat Literature Festival (GLF) was inaugurated on Sunday at Gujarat University. This three-day festival, from December 24th to December 26th, is a collaborative effort by the Gujarat Media Club (GMC) and Gujarat University.
Inaugurating the Gujarat Literature Festival, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel commended the collaborative endeavors of The Gujarat Media Club, committed to serving journalists’ interests, and the organizers of the Gujarat Literature Festival for successfully coordinating this event in cooperation. The Chief Minister highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi refers to literature and culture as the bridge that unites the past, present, and future. He added that the Gujarat government is committed to enriching the legacy of language and literature through special efforts.
Gujarat Media Club President Nirnay Kapoor at the inaugural session of the Gujarat Literature Festival expressed that Gujarat Media Club is an organization that has been involved in various activities including the upliftment of journalists and journalism for the past 18 years. Gujarat Media Club is constantly working to expand the ever-evolving media perspective. Along with this, this organization has also worked to spread awareness on the Corona pandemic and to create awareness about social activities like organ donation. He added that this literature festival being organized jointly with Gujarat University will increase the affinity of the youth of the state towards Gujarati art, literature, and films manifold and will provide a unique platform to emerging writers.
During the inauguration, addresses were delivered by Dr. Nirja Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat University, and Shyam Parekh, the Director and Founder of the Gujarat Literature Festival.
On this occasion, MLAs Kaushik Jain and Amit Thakar, well-known lyricist Prasoon Joshi, members of Gujarat Media Club, people associated with the media and film world, writers, artists, journalists, social leaders, teachers, and Literature enthusiasts were present.
