January 16, 2024
Ahmedabad: Adverse weather conditions, primarily dense fog, resulted in the cancellation of eight flights bound for North India from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport on Monday. In the past two days, more than 50 scheduled flights departing from Ahmedabad have been disrupted due to inclement weather.
Specifically, on Monday, eight flights from Ahmedabad Airport to destinations such as Delhi and Lucknow were canceled due to adverse weather conditions affecting states like Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Among these cancellations were five flights operated by Indigo Airlines, two by Air India, and one by SpiceJet.
In another development, dense fog has led to travel woes in Delhi, with around 30 flights departing from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport experiencing delays, and 17 being canceled today due to weather conditions. DeshGujarat
