Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will for the first time install a mechanical rotery parking system in its premises for cost of over Rs. 1 crore. According to a note shared by AMC, the new parking lot will be able to accommodate 12 cars in place of 2 cars. It will take 45 seconds to park each car. In case of a lack of electricity supply, the cars will be able to be taken down through manual operation. The system will be able to shift and reinstall at some other location in the future. The AMC has decided to install one such system for four-wheelers. After the success of this experiment, AMC will plan to install more such systems at other places. DeshGujarat
