Saptarshi Aaro and Dai Lake in Vadnagar to be developed at cost of Rs. 1,264 Lakhs

Gandhinagar: Vadnagar, an ancient and historical city in Gujarat, is undergoing development by the state government for tourism and spiritual purposes. Minister of Tourism, Mulubhai Bera, stated that the letter of intent has been issued to the agency for developing Saptrshi Aaro and Dai Lake for Rs. 1,264 lakhs in Vadnagar. The minister was responding to the question posed by Unjha MLA, KK Patel, in the state assembly today.

In response to a sub-question, the Tourism Minister stated that Saptarishi Aaro in Vadnagar and modern facilities like landscaping, entrance gate, parking, and a toilet block at Dai lake will be developed for tourists. Due to the Swadesh Darshan Yojana of the Government of India and the efforts of the Gujarat Government, approximately 8.65 lakh tourists visited Vadnagar in the last year alone.

Gujarat has emerged as a leader in tourism, becoming the preferred destination for foreign tourists as well.
