AAP leaders booked for intimidating woman who accused his son of rape

Amreli: Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Vidhan Sabha candidate Kanti Satasiya, along with three others, have been booked for criminal intimidation.
The four individuals facing accusations include AAP leader Kanti Satasiya, his sons Haresh and Bhavin, and Haresh’s wife Vaishali. Haresh has been accused of rape and criminal intimidation, while the other accused have been charged with criminal intimidation.
According to the FIR filed at Bagasara Police Station, Haresh allegedly abducted a 35-year-old woman from her village about 20 days ago and then raped her at knifepoint. The woman also alleged that she and Haresh had been in a relationship for the past 15 years.
“Haresh Kanti Satasiya repeatedly sexually assaulted the survivor after promising to marry her. Subsequently, Haresh’s father and brother ended the victim’s engagement with another individual. Haresh’s wife also threatened the victim over the phone,” a senior police official told the media, adding that efforts were underway to apprehend the four accused.
