Orange alert in these parts of Gujarat; here is IMD’s forecast till July 12th

Ahmedabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for certain districts of Gujarat for the next 24 hours, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall during this period. However, after that, the intensity of rainfall is expected to decrease over the following five days.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin on July 8th, Very heavy rains are likely at isolated places in districts of the Gujarat region, including Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

Meanwhile, Heavy rains are expected at isolated places in districts of South Gujarat, namely Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Vadodara, and Bharuch.

On July 9th, heavy rains at isolated places are likely in Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

However, the rest of the districts in Gujarat are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall only during the next five days from July 8th to July 12th.
