Railways announces a major update on Mumbai – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express train

Mumbai: In a major update announced by the Western Railway, the timing of the Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express train number 22961 has been changed with effect from August 24 this year. As per the details shared by the Chief Public Relation Officer Vinit Abhishek, the change in timings has been finalized due to the operational reasons.
As per the new timings, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 15.45 hours instead of 15.55, meaning 10 minutes early departure from August 24. The train will halt at Borivali in Mumbai during 16.10 to 16.13 instead of 16.20 to 16.23 presently. Similary, the timings of halts at Vapi, Surat, and Vadodara stations are also changed by up to five minutes. The train will arrive at Ahmedabad railway station at 21.15 instead of 21.25.
The Vande Bharat Express train is the speediest and the most premier train operating on Mumbai – Ahmedabad route. It has Executive Class and Chair Car coaches. It travels through a 491 km journey between the commercial capital of Gujarat and the capital of Maharashtra. DeshGujarat
