Surendranagar: District headquarters Surendranagar has got city bus service after a gap of 17 years under Mukhyamantri Shaheri Bus Seva scheme. Minister Mulubhai Bera dedicated 8 city buses in which the passengers can travel for ticket of Rs. 7. The city bus service will cover 8 routes within the city. It will be run by local Municipality. The women are being offered free rides upto the Raksha Bandhan festival. Rs. 8 ticket charge if fixed for journey for routes covering Wadhvan, Ratanpar and Joravarnagar.
