Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP Chief and Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil today launched the party’s statewide Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024 from Ahmedabad and stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting his home state of Gujarat for the first time after becoming PM for the third time. During the visit, over 1 lakh party karyakartas will welcome PM Modi at an event to be held at GMDC ground in the city on September 16th.

Addressing the gathering at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the Bodakdev area, Patil said, “PM Modi will be coming to Gujarat on September 15th. He has one program in Deesa; after that, he will have an overnight halt in Gandhinagar. The next morning, he has a government event at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, followed by a program for the Metro. Later, at 4 PM in the evening, we shall gather with 1 lakh karyakartas at GMDC ground. As PM Modi is coming to Gujarat after becoming Prime Minister for the third time, we shall welcome him by showing the power of our Sangathan.”

During the same gathering, Patil also proposed a target of 2 crore members for the BJP in Gujarat. DeshGujarat
