Gujarat CM launches online portal for sale of Toshakhana gifts
October 01, 2024
Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched an e-portal for the online sale of gifts received by him during public functions and various tours.
Previously, such gifts were sold through public auctions at state-level gatherings or by district collectors in their respective districts. Now, the State Government has introduced an online portal (https://cmgujmemento.gujarat.gov.in) for transparent e-auction sales of the gifts deposited in the Toshakhana. The proceeds will be directed to the Girl Child Education Fund.
People from any part of the country can use this portal to participate in the e-auction and purchase gifts online. The e-auction portal has been developed by N-Code GNFC, with categorized listings and photographs of the gifts provided by NIFT. Detail descriptions of each item are available in both English and Gujarati.
To participate in the e-auction, buyers must first register on the portal and submit their bids. The highest bidder will make a digital payment to the Girl Child Education Fund, after which the purchased item will be delivered via post.
Present at the launch were Chief Secretary Mr. Rajkumar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Pankaj Joshi, Mr. M.K. Das, Principal Secretary of the Finance Department Mr. Natarajan, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mrs. Avantika Singh, and other senior officers. DeshGujarat
