Four kids die of suffocation after getting locked in car in Amreli village

Amreli: Four children lost their lives due to suffocation in a car in Randhia village of Amreli taluka. The incident occurred while their parents were out at work. While playing, the children unlocked the car with the key and got inside. Unfortunately, the car was then locked, and all the children suffocated without being able to open the doors. The deceased children were from a migrant family originally hailing from Madhya Pradesh.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Chirag Desai told the media that Sobiabhai Machar, a farm laborer at Bharatbhai Mandani’s farm in Randhiya village, has seven children. Sobiabhai and his wife were working on the farm on Saturday while their children were at home. Meanwhile, the kids unlocked the I-20 car of the farm owner and got inside to play. However, the car got locked, trapping the children inside. When the couple returned from the farm in the evening, they found that their two daughters, Sunita and Savitri, aged seven and four, and their two sons, Karthik and Vishnu, aged two and five, had died due to suffocation inside the car.
