CM meets Indian envoys posted in five countries

In the run-up to Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2017, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel here today met Indian envoys posted in five countries.
The five envoys are Ambassador to Finalnd Ashok Sharma, Ambassador to Panama Shamma Jain, High Commissioner to Botswana Ketan Shukla, High Commissioner to Tanzania Sandip Arya and Ambassador to Mongolia T. Sureshbabu.
She discussed with them ways to strengthen Gujarat’s trade and economic cooperation with these countries, attract foreign investment, particularly in the light of a World Bank report adjudging Gujarat as Number One in Ease of Doing Business in India.
She also discussed ways to popularize the portal ‘Indian Mission Facilitation Initiative-Gujarat’ which updates Gujarat’s developments and achievements, particularly for Indian missions abroad. Cultural exchange programme of youth from Gujarat was also on the agenda.
Those present during the meeting included Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Agrawal, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Kailashnathan and Secretary Ajay Bhadoo.
