Folk artists to perform as part of BJP campaign for Gandhinagar civic election

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold cultural events as part of its ongoing campaign for Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) election, polling for which is scheduled to take place on October 3.
On 30th September, famous folk artists Mayabhai Ahir, Urvashi Radadia and Gamanbhai Santhal will perform on stage at Pethapur post 7 pm.
Folk singer Gitaben Rabari and Yogeshbhai Gadhvi will perform at Kolavada post 7 pm on the same day.
Same evening, the artists Jignesh Kaviraj, Arvind Vegda and Himanshu Chauhan will perform at Khoraj post 7 pm.
New rural areas have been included in the limits of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC). Khoraj, Kolvada and Pethapur are such pockets.
In another development, Gujarat Chief Minister will interact with Chaudhary community people at Pramukh party plot post 6 pm in presence of State party chief CR Patil who will also address public meetings at Pethapur and Indroda post 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm respectively. Patil will also hold a road show starting from Pethapur to Kudasan on 1st October during 12 noon to 3 pm. 1st October will be the last day of campaign for GMC election.
