Vadodara: Locals protests purchase of a house by a Muslim in Hindu populated area

Vadodara: The locals in Vadodara have opposed the purchase of a house by a Muslim in Hindu populated locality of Ramdev Pir ni chali in Bhutdi Zampa area.

According to the locals of Ramdev Pir chali, one Hiralal Mohanlal Khatri’s house has been sold to Yunus Sunni (Bhangarwala) for Rs. 7.50 lakh. The area is declared Disturbed Area and the law has been breached through this deal.

The locals gathered and rushed to Karelibag police station protesting this deal. However they alleged that the police instead of addressing their concern, locked two youths among protestors.

The locals also made representation before local councilor Manoj Patel and Bandish Shah. Both councilors took them to the Collector office and made representation that the documents of this deal must be quashed.

The locals said that 500 migrant Muslims have settled near Indira bridge suddenly and there’s no result when attention of political leaders was led to this fact. A durgah has also been constructed recently near Tulsi Mandir. DeshGujarat
