Gujarat CM Patel and BJP chief Patil to leave for Delhi

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil will visit the national capital New Delhi on November 9 to participate in the meeting of the Central Parliamentary Board of BJP during 9-10 November.
The meeting of the Central Parliamentary Board will discuss and finalize the names of the candidates for the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections that are going to take place in the first week of December this year.
The last date for filing nominations for the first phase of the Gujarat election is November 14, while for the second phase, it is November 17.
Earlier the State parliamentary board of BJP made panels names for all 182 assembly seats. The Central parliamentary board would choose the final names of the candidates. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present at the State parliamentary board meeting. He will also attend the Central parliamentary board meeting as well.
