Vadodara gets 3.5 km long Atal flyover

Vadodara: Rs. 230 crore Atal flyover connecting Genda circle to Manisha chokdi in Vadodara city was opened for traffic today by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
About 3.5 km long flyover is longest in urban Gujarat. The bridge has also two emergency exits. It took five years for this bridge to be ready. It will reduce travel between two end from 30 minutes to 7 to 10 minutes. There were four cross-roads on this route. But now flyover above them. Traffic towards Padra – Jambusar will be easily diverted to Atladra side with this flyover.
The Chief Minister also dedicated Sama garden and handed over Nyay Mandir to Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) for its development as a Heritage Museum. DeshGujarat
