BSF recovers 10 packets of charas off Jakhau coast in Gujarat

Kutch: The Border Security Force (BSF) today discovered 10 packages, each containing approximately one kilogram of charas, on an island located off the coast of Jakhau.
In an official statement, the BSF said, “On 13th August 2023, in a special search operation, BSF recovered 10 packets of suspected drugs, each weighing approximately 01 kg, from an isolated Khidrat Bet about 02 km off the Jakhau Coast in Bhuj. The packets were packed in yellow-colored plastic bags, and each had a picture of a rooster on it.”
Till date 40 packets of Charas have been recovered off Jakhau Coast since mid of April 2023, the statement added.
The statement elaborated that the BSF Gujarat is on high alert all along its area of responsibility in view of the upcoming Independence Day. An extensive search of the isolated bets off the Jakhau coast has been launched by the BSF. DeshGujarat
