Dahod: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi will e-dedicate historical Chhab pond of Dahod which has been revamped at a cost of Rs. 117 crore. A revamped pond has public facilities, gardens, boating place, 2.5 km long pathway, cycling track, roof top solar and amphitheater.

It is believed that a great medieval king of Gurjar Desh(much larger than present Gujarat State) had camped here with large number of his army men on way to Malwa for a war. In order to satisfy the need of drinking water, this Chhab pond was created. Siddhraj had eventually captured Malwa and added the region currently in Madhya Pradesh to then Gurjar Desh. Medieval sculptures are discovered from Chhab Talav site even today when excavation is done.
