Indian Army helicopter makes emergency landing in Mandvi, Surat

Surat: An Indian Army helicopter made an emergency landing in a village in Mandvi taluka here due to technical issues. Surat Airport authorities have confirmed the emergency landing.
It is learnt that the helicopter, which had taken off from Nashik, was en route to Jodhpur when the technical issue occurred in its blades. The pilot sought control assistance for the emergency landing and landed at the ground in Sathvav village in Mandvi taluka. The helicopter, carrying one pilot and five personnel, fired about 10 rounds before landing safely.
Another helicopter also landed at the ground for the assistance of the emergency-landing helicopter. Local Police also reached at the spot. Despite the technical glitch, no casualties were reported, and the malfunctioning helicopter was eventually restored. DeshGujarat
