‘First time ever in Gujarat, works worth Rs. 57,815 crore launched in a single day’

Navsari: Speaking at the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here, Gujarat Chief Minister today in his address said that he believes, since the foundation day of Gujarat State, this is a historic occasion when just in a one day, development works worth Rs. 57,815 crore are delivered in service of the people. He said with 178 works, it’s a double century of development.
The Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi later in his speech in reference to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s remark said perhaps for the first time after independence, such a big amount of development works are done. He then asked the people to mark this occasion by waving flash lights in their mobile phones and chanted Bharat Mata ki jai chants.
Looking at the thousands of lights in mobile phones, the PM said it looks like diamonds are sparkling in Navsari today. DeshGujarat
