Mahesana: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has arrested Lakhan Singh Girdharilal Meena, Assistant Audit Officer who works at the office of the principle accountant general (audit-1) at Rajkot. Meena is class-2 officer of government.

ACB laid a trap at District TB Centre medical officer’s chamber in Mahesana on Monday to nab the accused officer. According to ACB, the accused officer had pointed out small small mistakes of employees in audit and demanded Rs. 65,000 bribe to clear the audit report and not causing harassment. After bargaining, the final sum of bribe was fixed at Rs. 30,000.
