Global Microsoft Outage causes major flight disruptions at Ahmedabad Airport

Ahmedabad: Several flights flying out from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in the city have been canceled today. The cancellations come amid a global Microsoft outage causing disruptions in air and technology services worldwide.
Several airlines, including IndiGo, Akasa Airlines, and SpiceJet, have announced that booking, check-in, and other services are affected.
IndiGo’s Flight No. 6E 823 to Bengaluru, originally set to depart at 9:10 AM, was canceled. Additionally, the later flight by the same airline, Flight 6E 996, scheduled to depart at 11:55 PM, has also been canceled. Flights No. 6E 863 and 6E 481 have been delayed.
Flight No. 6E 261 to Bhubaneswar, which was set to take off at 7:00 PM, has been canceled.
IndiGo’s Flight No. 6E 7966 to Diu, scheduled to take off at 12:10 PM, has been canceled.
Alliance Air’s flight from Ahmedabad to Udaipur, which was supposed to depart at 1:10 PM, has also been canceled.
IndiGo’s last flight of the day from Ahmedabad to Delhi, scheduled to depart at 11:20 PM, has been canceled.
Flight No. 6E 6728 from SVPI to Hyderabad, scheduled to depart at 7:55 PM, will not operate, and Flight 6E 383 to the same destination, scheduled to leave at 11:25 PM, has also been canceled.
Even though all the flights will be departing for Mumbai several of them are facing delays. DeshGujart
