Bhutan King and PM visit Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat

Kutch: Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani, welcomed Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel and Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay to the Adani Group’s renewable energy site at Khavda and Mundra port in Gujarat. The visit aimed to explore collaboration opportunities across various sectors.
During their visit, the Bhutanese delegation toured the 30 GW renewable energy site and India’s largest commercial port at Mundra. The discussions covered potential cooperation in hydropower, green hydrogen, and urban development. Gautam Adani expressed his gratitude on X, highlighting Bhutan’s commitment to eco-friendly initiatives.

Last week, the Adani Group signed an MoU with Druk Green Power Company (DGPC) for a 570 MW Wangchu Hydropower Project.
