Pipe burst in CNG supply vehicle causes gas leak in Vadodara

Vadodara: Locals and travelers were left in fear after a gas leak occurred in the Gotri area of the city when the pipeline of a vehicle supplying CNG burst. Upon learning of the incident, a team from the Vadiwadi fire brigade rushed to the spot and stopped the gas leakage by closing the valve.
At around 7:30 am this morning, a tempo supplying CNG was passing through the Gotri area when a pipe in the CNG vehicle burst, leading to the gas leak. The pipe burst was followed by a loud sound, after which the vehicle driver stopped the vehicle and made efforts to contain the gas leak. Immediately, the incident was reported to the Vadiwadi Fire Brigade, and a team rushed to the scene. After half an hour of effort, the gas leakage was stopped.
As the gas leak occurred on the main road, one side road had to be closed temporarily. Motorists and locals were tense due to the gas leak; however, no loss of life occurred. It is reported that the vehicle, after getting filled at the Vadodara gas station at Ellora Park, was on its way to supply gas to other stations across the city. DeshGujarat
