With 2 months left to Diwali most UP, Bihar bound trains from Surat full

Surat: With less than two months left until the festival of Diwali, which falls on November 1st, trains to North India, especially Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, are fully booked. Many trains are fully booked, with waiting lists exceeding 150 passengers, while bookings have been closed for some trains due to full capacity.

As the festive season approaches, passengers are facing challenges in securing seats. On October 28, 2024, the Surat-Gorakhpur Express shows no seats available. The Udhna-Barauni Express has a waiting list of 193 for Sleeper and 120 for Third AC. Similarly, the Surat-Chhapra Clone Special Express has no seats available, while the Valsad-Danapur Express has 144 passengers waiting in Sleeper class.

On October 29, 2024, the Udhna-Barauni Express reports 165 passengers waiting in Sleeper and 105 waiting in Third AC. The Vapi-Danapur Express shows 186 passengers waiting in Sleeper class, and the Tapti Ganga Express also has no seats available.

On October 31, 2024, the Mumbai-Varanasi Express indicates 112 passengers waiting in Third AC and 128 in Third Economy, while no seats are available on the Ahmedabad-Asansol route. The Tapti Ganga Express also shows no availability.

On November 1, 2024, the Udhana-Varanasi Express reports 156 passengers waiting in Sleeper, while the train from Udhana to Patna has a waiting list of 126 in Sleeper class.

On November 2, 2024, there is no availability on the Valsad-Muzaffarpur Shramik Express, Bandra-Gorakhpur Express, and Surat-Bhagalpur Express. The Udhna-Danapur Express also shows no availability.
