Canadian High Commissioner meets Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi

Canadian High Commissioner Mr. Stewart Beck on Friday called on Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in a courtesy visit. Canada headquartered Bombardier Transportation Company’s Chairman and Chief Country representative Mr. Cattin Martel and Senior Trade Commissioner Mr. Nicolas Lepade were also present during this meeting(Bombardier has a plant in Gujarat’s Vadodara).
Canadian High Commissioner received details on how Gujarat has been a leading state in skilled development human resource planning and how it is emerging as India’s automobile hub. He also discussed areas of common interest in different fields.
Canadian delegation is scheduled to visit Gujarat state in October – 2011.
