November 04, 2025
Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places across parts of Gujarat on Tuesday. However, people in the state are already experiencing relief from the spell of unseasonal rain that caused disruptions in the last week of October, as the sun shines bright across most parts of the state. Though rainfall is predicted for the next 24 hours, satellite images show no major cloud formations hovering over Gujarat.
According to the bulletin issued on Tuesday, isolated showers were recorded in the past 24 hours, with heavy rainfall reported at Anjar in Kutch district. Light to moderate rain occurred at a few places in North Gujarat and Kutch, while parts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra also received isolated rainfall.
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is likely in the districts of Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, and Valsad, as well as in Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Parts of Saurashtra, including Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu, may also receive light to moderate rain.
After Tuesday, dry weather is expected to prevail across most districts of Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch, and the Union Territories for the next seven days. No weather warnings have been issued for the week.
The IMD has also predicted a gradual fall of 2–4°C in minimum temperatures across the region in the coming days.
In Ahmedabad, the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy with the possibility of light rain or thundershowers, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 22°C. DeshGujarat
