CBI court at Ahmedabad’s Mirzapur area today sent Gujarat BJP’s Junagadh MP Dinu Solanki to four days remand in year 2010 Amit Jethwa murder case.
Dinu Solanki’s advocate Mitesh Amin said, “we opposed CBI’s demand to give 14 days remand. The court partly allowed CBI application and gave remand till 11 November 3.00 pm.”
Solanki’s lawyer told court that Solanki was arrested at this stage because he is associated with a political party.
Solanki was arrested by CBI in Delhi after 7-8 hours of questioning. After getting two days transit remand in Delhi, the CBI team brought Dinu Solanki to Ahmedabad and produced him in CBI court here.
