Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s mother Hiraba is in discussion on social media.

As we have already published it before, Hiraba was briefly hospitalized last week in Ahmedabad. She was discharged in about couple of hours.

One of the two reasons why Hiraba is in discussion is Zee News journalist Sudhir Chaudhary’s video clip on social media in which he shares details of his telephone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sudhir said as he heard news about Hiraba’s health through social media, he called Prime Minister Office to inquire about her health. He could speak to Prime Minister who told him that he had talked to his mother in the morning over a telephone call.

As per Sudhir, Gandhinagar based Hiraba told her Delhi based Prime Minister son not to worry about her health and keep focusing on wok. Hiraba said she was fine and she had only some uneasiness. Hiraba told her Prime Minister son that she is going to live for long and wish to keep witnessing her son’s successes in future.

Hiraba told her son that she is now having black hair and new teeth at this age(old persons who are near or above 100 get new teeths, this has been noticed in many other cases).

Sudhir like many other rightly observed that Hiraba though a mother of Prime Minister was taken to hospital in common man’s ambulance service ‘108’ on a phone call of her son and Narendra Modi’s brother Pankaj Modi with whom she is staying in Gandhinagar. Pankaj Modi is government servant working in Government of Gujarat.

Sudhir also rightly observed that Hiraba could be taken to any other five-star luxurious private hospital, but she was taken to government hosptial in Ahmedabad like a common man.

Now the story of another reason why Hiraba was in discussion in social media.

ABP group’s Hindi news channel ABP News tweeted a link to news story that photograph in circulation on social media about Hiraba’s hospitalization was fake. Due to overwhelming critical tweets in response from those who were sure about the event, ABP withdrew the tweet and article and also published apology on its Facebook page. ABP news however continued to mention in its apology tweet that Hiraba was not hospitalized. This again was highly criticized by many as the fact was Hiraba was actually briefly hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit(ICU), but discharged after couple of hours.
