A Congress leader had on phone call asked me to reach upto then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Ishrat Jahan encounter case when I was heading the probe under Congress-led UPA government in power, said Satya Pal Singh, a former cop who is now BJP MP in Lok Sabha elected from Uttar Pradesh. Satya Pal Singh made several other revelations in this case including a revelation on dubious probe conducted by Satish Verma. An eye-opening speech in Lok Sabha.
