Mehsana: ONGC has executed a project to make potable water from wastewater released by its Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) in North Santhal near Mahesana in North Gujarat. The ONGC facility at the North Santhal (NS) ETP is now capable of producing 500 cubic meters of treated water per day, equivalent to five lakh liters, suitable for consumption. Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has decided to provide Narmada water for drinking and irrigation in North Gujarat and Saurashtra areas by March 15, 2024. This water will be allocated to the North Gujarat region under the 'Sujlam Suflam Yojana' and to the Saurashtra region through the 'Sauni Yojana.' Gandhinagar: Administrative approval has been given for construction of barrage at Ambod village on Sabarmati river. The barrage will be built at a cost of over Rs. 220 crores.
