Baba Ramdev suggests Yoga,Pranayam for “mentally ill” Chidambaram
Ahmedabad, 2 September, 2010
World famous Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today termed central Home minister P.Chidambaram as possible mental patient, and advised that he should practice Pranayam and Yoga.
Baba Ramdev was in Dwarka on Janmashtami, when he was asked about his view on central Congress Home minister P.Chidambaram’s recent “saffron terrorism” remark – which is largely perceived as insult of Hindu dharma, and glorious tradition of the country – Baba in his reply said, “our beloved Home minister can not escape from his responsibility just by using phrases like ‘bhagava aatankvad’. He is on very higher post, he should try to remove terrorism, Maoism and Naxalism from Kashmir and rest of the country.”
“Central minister is not able to see either terrorism or Naxalism. I think either there is possibility that chidambaram is suffering from mental illness, or there is some trouble occurred in his vision. So he should practice some Pranayam and Yoga,” Ramdevji added.
“He should not connect saffron colour with terrorism. Saffron colour is our culture, dhrma, traditions, Ahimsa and truth’s colour. And saffron is part of our national flag too. If he finds terrorism in saffron colour, then he should change national flag first,” he concluded his answer.
