Gujarat MLA seeks permission to wear Police uniform for film shoot

BJP MLA elected from Vadhodia constituency in Vadodara, Madhu Shrivastava has in a letter to Police Commissioner of Vadodara sought permission to wear Police Uniform for his film role.
Shrivastava’s shoot for upcoming Gujarati film is scheduled to take place on 7th and 8th March in Vadodara city’s Nyaymandir, Mandvi and Panigate areas.
Shrivastava is playing a role of police officer. He says the story of film involves a story of two brothers – one of whom becomes mafia and other one becomes police officer.
A decision on Shrivastava’s application will be taken in thi week.
Shrivastava has acted in the past in another Gujarat film ‘Thankor no call, Jagat ma anmol’.
Shrivastsava compares his role as police officer in upcoming Gujarati film with a role played by Hindi film actor Ajay Devgan in film Singham.
Ever since Shrivastava has started acting in films, his dress has changed from kurta payjama to jeans and t-shirt.
