Surat: Nine persons, mostly minors, were nabbed by police in inebriated condition from a booze party in an apartment in a posh locality in the city late last night.

Police raided a flat on the 10 th floor of Alishan apartment in Umara area on the complain of neighbours that some youths were playing music at high volume.

One Ravi Shah, who had thrown the booze party in flat number 1002 on the occasion of a ceremony related to the marriage of his sister, and eight of his acquaintances, many of whom had come from Mumbai, were nabbed in inebriated condition. Some liquor bottles were also found there. They had also reportedly kept a hookah there.

Police nabbed all of them and had sent their blood samples for test.
